About the role

Our business requires experienced professional drivers to operate B-Double and Road Train combinations.

Key aspects of the role

• Long distances requiring regular nights away and some weekend work
• Livestock handling, prioritising animal welfare at all times
• Work as part of a team
• Daily pre-start checks - Including early referral of any issues to our accredited maintenance team
• Making clear & accurate entries on job records and daily driver work diary
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the prime movers and trailers
• Follow company CoR, WHS, speed, fatigue and maintenance programs

Skills and experience

Previous MC experience preferred. Livestock handling skills necessary.

Essential‍

• MC licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Pleasant and respectful manner when communicating with others

Desirable‍

• Fatigue Management Certificate
• Previous experience carting and/or handling cattle and sheep or willing to learn
• Livestock Loading Certification
• Experience with convertible livestock trailers and B-Double
